Item economy

Pricing & Trading

An equipment item's sale value comes entirely from its affixes. Item base, item level, and rarity do not add separate multipliers.

Pricing algorithm

Affix sale price

Quality band = round(1 + 9 × position within the tier range). Affix price = quality band × 10g × affix tier. Item price = the sum of every affix price.

Buying and selling

Sell price
Iron Ember Outfitters pays the calculated sum of all affix prices. Items can only be sold through this shop.
Buy price
Shop stock costs 4× its sale value, with a minimum price of 4g.
Rarity
Higher rarity is usually worth more only because it carries more affixes; rarity has no direct price multiplier.
Fixed ranges
A stat tier with one fixed value uses the highest quality band.
