Step 2 of 5

Controls & Combat

Click ground to move there, hold targets to fight or interact, or switch to the classic WASD scheme in Settings.
Click-to-move defaultWASD optionalCustomizable in Settings

Default controls

Click-to-move stores the clicked ground position and continues until the hero reaches it. Holding and dragging updates that destination. Hostiles stay targeted for that hold, and chests, people, and ship stations activate after the hero reaches them. Hold Control while clicking to stop and fire one Wand attack toward the pointer. Reassign any player-facing key or existing combat mouse button under Pause → Settings → Controls; changes apply immediately and do not alter hero saves.

WASD mode

Choose WASD under Pause → Settings → Controls to preserve the classic scheme.
Directional keys move through dimensions and across the ship, each primary-button press fires one Wand attack, and F uses nearby interactions. Directional keys still pan the map viewer in either mode.

Dash direction

Choose Mouse pointer or Hero movement under Pause → Settings → Controls.
Mouse pointer keeps the existing behavior and dashes toward the current aim. Hero movement instead follows the direction the hero is traveling through click-to-move or WASD, and uses the hero's facing direction while stationary.
